A New Year’s Celebration

Five. Four. Three. Two. One. Isn’t that familiar?

Fireworks displays, people hugging, greeting, blowing horns, and screaming… “Happy New Year!”

Everyone has experienced that. But is that all?

No. New Year’s about thanking God for the last year you had, which means all your blessings, wants, and needs that you got. It is also about believing, hoping, and praying that your coming year will be even better! Because all God wants is to bless and bless you. Isn’t that the reason why He created you?

But, if you believe for a bad coming year, that will not be of faith or hope and God would not be pleased. Because, without faith, it is impossible to please God. And hope is the expectation for something good.

So, remember, every New Year, thank God, and believe for an even better coming year!

Because that’s what New Year’s about.

(And don’t forget the food. Just kidding.)
